Actaeas and his syncope episodes

On Jan 18 we came to the Millard Canyon Falls Trail with  2 other friends plus 4 extra humans, we ended up coming to this exact same trail again a few weeks later by accident because of a google map hiccup.

Somehow I stopped posting regularly for years, and yesterday I casually scrolled through phone photos because its been mad at me for weeks and sent out tons of notifications telling me to declutter, going through photos made me realized we actually had so much fun together in 2019, and every single moment is worth to be remembered. So here comes a long rambling recap of our 2019, when I looked back at pile of photos madness, they lit up memories i didn't know they were there and sparked joy in my heart, later I dug deeper and got all pictures out from my DSLR out as well.

因為休了一個禮拜的假,所以帶Actaeas出去了很多次,圖多字少

life is boring without adventures

Tissue mom was still in Taiwan, so we went on another boring hike during the weekend, expect to go on a small trip once again the coming weekend hopefully

busy busy week with a only short walk

Crazy busy week, my job was going intense like hell, overtime every night, even have to work at the weekend, so I decided to take him to my office so I can spend some time with him, I stole a morning to take Salacia to the vet for 3rd vaccines, after that I took Actaeas out for a walk before I bring him to work so I can burn out his energy beforehand, disasters are the last thing I need at this point...

Memorial day long weekend afternoon walks

I gave myself a 5 days long weekend after lots of overtime late night works, I brought Actaeas out almost everyday, but at the end of my breaks i still couldn't burn out all of his energies.

Tinkerbell! new member in our big family!

The most exciting thing in this memorial day weekend is that we have a new family member! Her name is Tinkerbell, 10 weeks old dapple Dachshund.

We didn't do anything big last week, so I can hardly find a thing to write, since there are more and more photos filling my memory card, I decided to clear them out, so here come the meaning less post!

Finally I am back in states, Actaeas was so happy to see me after a month, he is taller but forgot most of the manners I have taught him. I am still really thankful, Kai and Eva took a great care of him during my absence, thank you guys!! <3

these are the photos I took before I left, I tested him on 4 different kibbles and found out he does better with Orijen but not Acana, and of course home made food is still the best, with home made food, Actaeas will not have eye gum, little stool easy to clean with no smell at all, even his pee doesn't smell. 

 From right to left, Acana Regionals Ranchland, Acana Regionals Pacifica, Orijen  Regional Red, Orijen Six Fish, after I said okey, he went for Pacifica, Red, Six fish and than Ranchland.

Actaeas was having really bad case of diarrhea last week out of no where, we were guessing he might pick up something he shouldn't be eating in the dog park...

最近在盤算著年底回台灣的行程,Actaeas當然是我最擔心的一環,雖然已經定居美國,但是每年不免還是要回台灣看家人,Actaeas進入我生命後我最近開始覺得我越來越依賴牠,以前是快下班的時候會想念牠,現在病情嚴重到中午就開始茶不思飯不享...真的病得很不輕...不知道有沒有人跟我一樣....

since I am not a big fan of dressing up my dog, we didn't have costume this day, if it's not because of me afraid of him gets lost, I won't even put a collar on Actaeas, I want him to be as naked as a little wield wolf

在我國中的時候媽媽偷偷帶回了一隻小博美,我叫牠伊比,實現了我一直想要養寵物的夢想,愛動物如癡的我可以一年跑好幾次木柵動物園,高中唸了三類組因為一心想要成為獸醫,在最後一年因為專長使然加上對生物類天份不高,於是轉換了跑道推甄了別的系所

I waited so long for this to come, he is 5 months old now, and now he lost his first baby teeth

[murmur] 16 weeks old 6.6lbs

 

Actaeas just had his 3rd vaccination last weekend, he truly embarrassed me by screaming not only during the shots but also after, he cried out really loud for several minutes, such a little drama queen.

the vet said he is growing slow, dogs should be losing their first teeth around 2-4 month of age, and also I figured he is smaller than the average size too.

Actaeas was keeping me super busy for weeks, I knew having a new puppy in the house would be a total disaster, but it wasn't that hard when Ebe came to me, I looked back, I think I didn't really pay attention on having a dog back than, and I didn't care that much about what Ebe eats, how to train him and all kinds of knowledge, also the whole family was looking after him. now it's like me, Cedric and Actaeas, I had changed, I care a lot about him so what ever Actaeas does I rater laugh or get angry, because of him, I am really emotional in these days :P
