We had a refreshing afternoon at Kern River the other day, took us 3 hours to get there, but the place was just okay for me, a bit dirty because it's near by a campground, there were trash and chicken bones so we had to look close to our dogs to stop them picking up food.
there were also some people fishing by the river
not sure if it's because of bones and trash so our dogs started to sniff around without noticing they were off the team
Tiru first went lost, Ti mom was straggling to find her and Tissue miserable got missing right after that, I had to tie all the remain kids together to prevent more disappearing and wait for Ti mom to collect her missing ones.
somehow I feel like it's getting harder and harder to control those girls, and they don't usually response to their mom's calls.
me and Actaeas have a small problem too, he always growls like a zombie while he is playing, Actaeas does that since he was little even when he was playing with me.
when it comes to playing in the dog park, some pet parents doesn't understand, I usually keep him away from their dogs to prevent problems.
me and Actaeas met a neighbor in our parking lot few days ago, he growled at her and that freaked our neighbor out even she herself is a dog owner, she was so scared and sicked her body against the wall started to yell "get him away from me! do something!"
my explanations wasn't convincing enough to our neighbor, she was frightened and angry, this is a big frustration for both me and Actaeas.
seeing people reacting to my dog like this is heart breaking too.
Actaeas is a very talkative kid, he makes sounds like growling just to greed me when I come home too
back to the Kern River, we went across the campground to the other end and found a decent place with no rapids
the water was so chill and Actaeas couldn't resist eating other people's BBQ remains, it's not an amazing trip but I still enjoy our time together.
