Happy Birthday to Tinkerbell turning 2!

Tinkerbell turned 2 this April, I made another cake few weeks after Tissue's party. Tinkerbell is a tiny mini dachshund smaller than my cat and somehow her face still look like a baby, so when ever we brought Tinkerbell out, people always thought she is still a puppy, yet she is a big lady now!

guess what, I made cheese cake this time! for the crust I use kibbles, even though I give Actaeas homemade food, I still keep kibbles around just in case, recently we are using one of the Dog Food Advisor’s top rating 5 stars dry food Nature’s Variety Instinct Ultimate Protein, what I like about it is it uses real meat other than meat meal, kibbles are tiny, sometimes I used it as training treats too.

I blended kibbles until its fine

filled it into the pie pan after mixed with coconut oil

whisked egg and cottage cheese together, press through a sieve, about 1 egg :  100g of cottage cheese

steam over 25 minutes and done! I dusted turmeric powder over a cut out dachshund silhouette paper  for the final touch, if you are interested in giving your dog Turmeric, check below.

see! this is what you get!

Tissue and Tinkerbell went into a huge fight because of this cheesecake, Tiru got advantage of the mess, she had a good bite of the cake when we were all trying to brake the girls fight.

the crust was falling apart because I did not add enough oil

but still looked pretty tasty don't you think?

have a bite?

I did not capture Tiffy on my camera that day, she was wondering around somewhere else

how did this happen? you got the crust all over your coat haha!

anyways, happy birthday Tinkerbell! be happy and healthy, and you are 2 years old now, it's time to learn how to catch a treat with your mouth not your face!
