A Fabulous Fall Weekend in Sonoma Wine Country (2) - Mount Burdell

This is a lazy and super late update for our second day trip long time ago...

We went to Mount Burdell the second day of our vacations after the winery, we saw color trees along the way, the trailhead located at a beautiful neighborhood.
dogs are allowed to be off leash on all the fire roads, this was an easy 3 miles hike for us

we got to the peak near the Mount Burdell Preserve pretty quick without any pain. According to reviews, summers are hot here so we may have got lucky picked the right timing to come I guess?

the hills were cool, breezy, and a bit muddy that day, I was freezing, Ti mom even got a cold after the trip

oh, and Ti mom double-leashed Miru to make sure he has no chance to get away again!

we saw cute little gopher snake, hawks and so many wield lives, I always mock at Tinkerbell because she might look like a good meal for those birds of prey.

we caught last bit of fall colors around trailhead when we got back, I did not take much photos so let's call it a day and look forward for winter snow!
