Labor day (1) - at Redwood Regional Park/Tilden Valley Railway

I waited almost forever to update this post after our Labor Day trip, because somehow I did a horrible job making photo shoots, so I cried myself to sleep refused to face it for weeks... sorry guys!

Ti mom was busy so the Ti family did not come with us, I brought Actaeas to north alone for the first time, people all called me crazy (thinking about 7 hours driving distance...), but we certainly loved it! it was an awesome adventure and an amazing experience to travel like this, only two of us!

our first stop was Redwood Regional Park, the Skyline Gate entrance has no parking fee

remember our old fluffy friend Maya the Shiba Inu? yap! time to call her out for another meet up party!

here is the first time we met at the beach (see Maya all the way down to the bottom)

we had another accompany, Maya's BFF Tachi! don't mind the lady behind her, I have no idea who that was neither.

here is one Shiba, one long haired Shiba, and one not Shiba

Redwood Regional Park has plenty of trails to choose from, dogs are allowed off-leash on most of the trails, this place is nice and full of shades, Maya was also loving the horse poop on the way too

after Maya dropped down and rubbed her face on the floor for too many times, I think her mom just gave up yelling at her and accepted the fact that she needs to give her another bath tonight.

natural horse perfume huh?

sorry Actaeas I took too many photos of the girls, totally forgot you

after Maya's mom gave her a wipe, we headed to our next stop to experience miniature railway in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley!

The steam train is a miniature live steam railroad railroad uses 5" scale model live steam locomotives, tickets for adults and children are $3, dogs are allowed to ride the miniature train for free!

we were so lucky to stole the front row! with 15 minutes ride, it's very easy to tell these 3 furry kids have 3 totally different personalities, Tachi was scared, she didn't even what to get on the seat, Maya was glued on to the spot after her mom got her there, talking about Actaeas, he was like a 5-year-old annoying boy...

JUST    COULDN'T    STOP    MOVING    AROUND

and now he comes to the left

Maya Mom: having a boy wasn't easy hahaha

me: yeah right...

see us in this video!

I was thinking about taking Actaeas to try the skunk train at Fort Bragg before I found this mini one, that is a real size forty miles of railroad run through majestic redwood forests, considering I don't want to spend my entire vacation on driving, we may try that later in the future.

after the ride we went to near by restaurant, because we human were starving

this is a cute dog friendly restaurant, they gave us water and treats!

sadly they will not join our next day river adventures, yet it was so nice to see Maya, hope to visit you and Tachi again soon!
