According to all the doctors suggestions, I crated Actaeas for most of the times, only allowed him to come out for pee but no other activities are permitted.
he urinate more frequently after the sugary, seem to be unable to control urination, this should be temporary but I am still keeping an eye on this

I took Actaeas to animal rehab center the next morning right after he came home, he had to stay on a matt or carpet or he couldn't really walk without back legs slipping everywhere
we had a quick walking evaluation
muscle measurement to make sure he will be gaining muscle after a month of training
and neuromuscular reflex tests, it was so cute to see him kicking his leg
and yes, there were bruises everywhere, I started to perform home exercises twice daily for the duration of treatment by rehab center, include improved strength, range of motion, flexibility, endurance and functional mobility, I also put heat and ice pack on Actaeas' lower body 4 times a day
I also bought some Chinese herb for Actaeas
Wolfberries are believed to improving blood production, reinforce the liver, invigorate the kidneys and replenish vital essence, Jujubes contain 20 times more vitamin C than any citrus fruit, good for strengthening the immune system and fighting infections.
I cooked them with a game hen without any salt, so me and Actaeas can both drink the soup

personally I don't eat moon cakes but it's like I don't like pumpkins but I still cook some for Actaeas during Halloween... so I decided to make some moon cakes for the coming Chinese moon festival
I made beef into small balls and steamed them for 10 minutes
Chinese don't put beef into the moon cake, this is a recipe for dogs
I covered the beef with mashed potatoes
and yes I burned my finger when I was preparing hot pack for Actaeas sigh

this dough was made of chicken soup, I am not sure how much soup did I add into it, I just eyeballed it to this consistency
I divided the dough into 5, pressed the potato filling into the middle of each dough, gathered the edges over to enclose the filling and pinch closed, pressed each of them in the mold to shape the mooncake
they doesn't look perfect because it's not human recipe, I didn't add any butter into the dough, I want Actaeas to eat healthy
I baked them under 365F about 10 minutes, brushed the moon cakes with egg wash, and bake another 10 minutes
during the wait, I put heat on Actaeas' butt and gave him little massage

poor little thing, Actaeas has to take a lot of medicine every 12 hours
Happy Chinese Moon Festival!
I gave 4 of the moon cakes to Ti Family, not sure what they think, but Actaeas and his little sis really liked it

today is the first day of his physical therapy, he doesn't really like strangers touching him
warnning! you may see wound and flesh below, click away if you don't want to see those photos!
not sure how much this could help, but they did acupuncture too
I would faint if anyone put needle on me seriously, Actaeas was doing a great job
they also did homeopathy injection and wound cleaning, it will accelerate the healing process by removing the dead skin
look! pink bandage!
I bought Actaeas a ruffwear life jacket during the labor day sell, the design fits better than the one we borrowed from Tiffy, this jacket will not limits his front legs' movements

Actaeas' insurance plan doesn't cover homeopathy, I felt really sad about sending him to another sergury but if we don't do anything about his bruises, it might take forever to heal, and his coat might not grow back, so at the end of the day I decided to stop the wound cleaning session, and taking Actaeas to a surgery skin specialist on Friday
on Friday, the doctor cut off all the dead skins, I will keep my fingers crossed... hope those black skins will not come back, this will be his last operation on him, and he will be having a speedy recovery from now on
the incision part looks pretty terrifying
