Back on foot (5) - final evaluation and dehydrated meals making

I had been crazy busy the pass few weeks, here is a new update of Actaeas' physical therapy

process! as you can see he is jumping and hopping like a little rabbit now!

Back on foot (4) - underwater treadmill and muscle building

Here is a late update for Actaeas' mid-evaluations of his recovery, his main physical therapy doctor told us Actaeas is one of her most successful case! he is healing super fast and well, instead of getting weak, he actually gain muscles on his back legs, also both sides are evenly big!

Back on foot (3) - recheck X-rays and more exercises

Boom! it has been a while since the last update,  I brought Actaeas to his vet for a bone recheck on 10/15 woohoo!
it's almost 2 months after the car accident, doctor told me Actaeas is healing pretty well, screws are all nice and tight, no infections, the overall alignment and fixation is very good, he thinks UC Davis did a great job on his surgery, it was a huge relieve to hear all of this, I was quite emotional after I walked out of the room, this is a best birthday present i could ever ask for.

Back on foot (2) - rainbow pants/flexion exercises - a tale of my bald ass

Today is the 28th day after Actaeas' car accident, can't believe it's almost a month!
he is doing pretty great in pass few weeks, all the doctors and physical therapists are so impressed

Back on foot (1) - rehab and moon cakes

According to all the doctors suggestions, I crated Actaeas for most of the times, only allowed him to come out for pee but no other activities are permitted.

he urinate more frequently after the sugary, seem to be unable to control urination, this should be temporary but I am still keeping an eye on this

I gave up on buying $400 round trip flight, not only because it's too expansive at last minute, also Actaeas had never be on a airplane before, I am not sure he will be okay with it, so we drove all the way up to San Francisco last night after work, arrived at the hotel at 3am today, and went up to UC Davis in the afternoon, super exhausted!

I am so lucky my work lead understands Actaeas is more than a pet for me, so he offered me a day off to go north

今天是車禍後第四天,人比昨天平靜許多

在這一場意外中我不怪Truckee一開始的誤判和疏漏,畢竟在危急時刻是他們收留了受傷的Actaes,給他地方待,也給予最基本的止痛和全身檢查,讓我有幾個小時的餘裕可以去做搜尋,找到比較理想的專科醫院,爾後的夜班醫生也給予了很大轉院上的幫助

昨晚剛回到家看到Actaeas滿地的玩具,家理無所不在都是他的影子,我又淚崩了 

 在事發第一時間我承認我的世界瞬間被擊潰,也想過再也不要寫網誌了,但是這個情緒過了以後我重新振作

寫這些文章的初衷本來就是想記錄Actaeas一生的點滴,好的壞的,全部都是他的一部分,所以即便再痛再可怕

我也要把他每一分每一秒繼續記錄在這裡

星期五我們離城到了北加州Lake Tahoe過勞工節3天連休的假期

在8/31 下午4點的時候Actaeas遭遇了一場車禍,事已釀成原因不多贅述也不責怪任何人

我個人的崩潰和眼淚當然不會少,但是這篇文章主要是紀錄Actaeas還有醫療的過程,我也就不多提我個人的狀況

當天Actaeas在馬路上被一台剎車不及的suv撞上,幸運的是他小小的身體躲在車底輪子之間,所以當車子越過他的時候並沒有壓到身體
