Actaeas losts his sisters after Ti Family moved to North California half a year ago, this is our first united after apart, along with new members Momo the 4 months old border collie and Ba-Song the doberman mix.
the first day me and Actaeas carpooled with Momo and Ba-Song up to Pinecrest for meet up and ended our day with a warm Chinese hotpot with Ti Family. That was the first time Actaeas met those two girls, even though Ba-Song doesn't favor him, as I expected Actaeas always has more patient than he should be with ladies.
also after I lost my iphone 6 at Kelso Dunes, I've been suffering using my slow 4s for half a year.
being an iphone user for 6 years, I decided to switched to Google Pixel 2 when it first released in October, and finally got my new devise around mid November, lucky to have it before Thanksgiving because I brought all my bad ass DSLR gears without a sim card...
I wasn't too upset, because I thought this would be a pretty good challenge for testing out this new phone in a big trip like this.
this was the craziest trip ever traveling with 7 dogs! our first day was at Celo's Bath Trail walking alone this big lake all the way to a waterfall. parking here is limited.
we were planing to catch some snow in this vacation but its clearly too warm this year
its always very interesting to watch puppy learns from other dogs, Momo is such a brave little girl, willing to absorb and try absolutely anything.
wait Tissue, that's too dangerous!
Ba-Song in another hand was always worried and acted overly aggressive to protect herself
I remember when Ti mom first got Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell was timid, not willing to explore, when Actaeas was little, he was not as mellow as Momo, she is such a calm and confidence young lady.
pixel 2 also has a motion photo option just like iphone, problem is you can't export a high rez video or gif out, even using google Motion Stills app It does not give you what you see in your phone, also the water mark upsets me :(
let's wait a bit, everyone is way behind us!
the trail turned into gold and orange after we walked toward the waterfall
its interesting and also sad to see how age does to these furry friends, I didn't get enough Tiru and Tiffy in my shots because they walk way slower
we were slowly surrounded by pine trees, air in the woods were cold with fresh green scent
there were less people after we walked away from the lake

and I don't even have much Tissue in my photos, is Actaeas going to be the next one falling out of the frame? I know this is a silly question and will not happen because I will always follow him, but I also know Actaeas is getting 5 soon, not the youngest in the pack anymore.
we finally got to the waterfall(?) and not quite sure if this is the one we are looking for
we kept on going and did some unbelievable bouldering, hand passing dogs one by one
we couldn't find more signs or arrows pass this area, according to the local, the tail fades out around this point
we were rewarded by this fantastic view, and decide to walk back because it's already passing 3pm, we were also worried about carrying more dogs up and down will become a problem
we walked back to the lakeshore, I was amazed by how my new cell phone camera managed to take this photo
Actaeas is always the scout in the pack, i had to walk faster than other human to keep up, young dogs are energetic, Momo(4 months), Ba-Song(1 year), Tinkerbell(3 years) were all with us.
I am always impressed by how much patient Ti mom has with her older pups, she leads them, waits for them, sometimes carries them, never gives up taking Tiffy and Tiru to travel, I wish I will also be like her when Actaeas gets old.
