It didn't take us too long to come back to this river, this time with Tiru of curse, we had so much fun last visit
and it didn't take Actaeas too long too tear my Behavior Adjustment Training book apart, he is giving me more troubles than I could imagine lately.
I am still working on loose leash walking (amazing I know...), Actaeas just couldn't stop dragging when ever we go out, even if I went through all the articles and book finding for methods (have been working on silk thread/touch/treat/not walking when leash is tight/ turn when he pulls...etc),still can not see ANY improvement what so ever... Ti mom told me she didn't really teach her dogs how to walk, I guess it's just different personalities, I wish after Actaeas gets older he will understand how to relax better
I used my Canon 18-55mm mainly on this trip, and truly see the limitation of this lens
Tinkerbell was still crying all the way, her vital capacity is amazing I have to say...
crying/swimming/ running at the same time, people along the way thought she is a bird, I was amazed
lucky me do not have to worry about this kid now
the water was deeper than out last visit, also pretty muddy, I slipped into the river once and almost got my camera wet (oh snap!! I really need an excuse to get a new one!)
we couldn't really see through the water neither, last time I was able to see the rocks and made sure where I am going to step on
Actaeas was so excited, people say I will miss this when he gets old and calm, I serious doubt it
mighty jump failed
It was a great fun to see him jumping between rocks
Tissue looking at her mom with sparkling eyes, wish Tinkerbell can be like her one day, I meant the swimming part, not the big eyes
damselfly mating
this is pretty much the most challenging part of the river trekking
and this could happen
over my dead body
Ti mom is a good mother, when I was trying to give Tissue a hand, she stopped me and said "let she do it by herself"
Tinkerbell looks like a little wanton in the water
suddenly we saw some people up stream busy working on something by the river
I saw them holding some metal racks so I was like "are they washing BBQ racks?? that's not cool!"
than I saw those buckets... oh no!! what are they pouring into the river? is this legal??
so I asked, "what are you looking for?"
"looking for gold!" the man answered
I googled it after got home, the East Fork was actually a hotbed of prospecting and panning back in the gold rush days of the late 1800s, even today it remains a popular location, because of the easy access, this location has become a very popular spot for local prospectors, so many articles are talking about this.
five most important men(?) in Ti mom's life
Tiru had another surgery after this trip, due to hematoma on her ear (happened month ago)
after an hour of walk, we finally found a place to rest
Tinkerbell was exhausted, and was trying to dry herself by rubbing her body on the ground
Tiru did a great job today, didn't stop fallowing us all the way here
Tissue got the trick, can finally get the ball in the water, I bet she practiced this over and over again after the big bear incident
there were a LOT of bees the fist time we were here, can barely find one this time
a dying pup
(not to worry, we did take good care of her)
this is how a romance started
what are you guys doing? why are you all sleeping??
we love this trail because all of us can be in the water all the way and not worry about dogs get dehydrated or hot stroke during summer time
LEICA LUX-6
apparently... my upper body is 10 levels darker than my legs right now, gee thanks a lot LA sunshine!
go get it!!!
we decided to walk back after a long rest, Tinkerbell woke up and started to cry like a beast, hey we are not even start walking yet girl!
not a lot of people know, she actually has pretty blue eyes
hello there, let's keep going
was planing to take a photo of Actaeas, sadly he didn't walk into the shot
sometimes we walk along the river to avoid the river bed mud
I hope you are tired enough so we adults can leave you all at home in peace in order to go get dinner
oops!!!
I didn't take much pictures of Tiffy this time, Ti mom is going to be mad at me again
bet you are happy we are going back
LEICA LUX-6
this might be the last time we visit this place this year(?), can't wait for the fall color to come!
and, we went to dog park once again on Sunday
Tinkerbell was lot better this time, welling to walk out meet and play(?) with other dogs
but she still loves Actaeas the best
I saw a shaved Husky on the big dog side, It was so hilirious looking, hope his owner does know the consequence, pros and cons of shaving a Husky, I do not against this, just feel it's better people have full knowledge and know exactly what they are doing before they act.
